Acupuncture/Naturopathic Medicine
All of our practitioners here at Apothecary Wellness are licensed in the State of Maryland and have many years of experience. We all work hard to continue our education in our respective fields and learn new modalities and treatments.

Rachel graduated from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in New York City in 2003. She is nationally certified and holds licenses in both Maryland and New York States. She trained under myofascial practitioner, Carrie Taylor in New York City where she learned to address specific injuries as well as general postural rebalancing work, all with the use of myofascial techniques.
She teaches her clients stretches and exercises for self-care to help maintain the treatments. Rachel also holds a Bachelors degree in American Studies from Goucher College.
Christine graduated from Muller College of Holistic Studies located in San Diego, CA in 2003 with her Holistic Health Practitioner certification. In 2004 she graduated from the Natural Healing Institute with a certification in Clinical Nutrition and is currently attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to round out her nutrition education. Christine has also been a licensed esthetician since 2007, specializing in holistic skin care.
Christine was trained by some of the finest instructors in San Diego, and learned a holistic style of massage, combining the therapeutic benefits of deep tissue therapy with the renewing aspects of a relaxing treatment.
Christine has had extensive training in holistic skin care with Dr. Hauschka, ilike organic skin care, Naturopathica and many others and uses her knowledge of nutrition to educate her clients on a healing the body from the inside out.
Christine's passion for holistic nutrition and health coaching comes from many years of studying the body as a massage therapist and esthetician, her own struggles with nutrition and weight issues and years of education as both a Clinical Nutritionist and a Health Coach.

Michelle graduated from Baltimore School of Massage in 2003. Originally from Wyoming, Michelle studied flute performance and classical dance at the University of Wyoming. She turned to a combination of massage therapy and yoga to help treat numerous injuries and a constantly sore back. From these experiences, Michelle enjoys helping clients with similar challenges and offers creative solutions to help treat any muscular issues.
Jes graduated from Baltimore School of Massage in 2008, with a special interest in encouraging qi flow. Jes incorporates acupressure and stretching techniques with heart-felt massage to bring harmony to the body, mind, and spirit.
Erin Williams is a graduate of the Holistic Massage Institute. She uses a variety of modalities in her bodywork including deep tissue, myofascial stretching and acupressure to encourage balance, and help change habitual patterns that release stress. Erin is also a reiki master teacher and a matrix energetics practitioner, and enjoys incorporating energy work in her practice.
Joy graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2006. Since then she has specialized in Deep Tissue, Prenatal Massage, and Reiki. She enjoys treating those areas that are the most bothersome, while incorporating a total body/mind relaxation in her massages. Joy also recommends stretching techniques and overall wellness advice for self-Care at home and work.
Sara graduated from the School of Health Professions, Massage Therapy program, through CCBC Essex in 2010. She has studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial release. She has also completed her pre & peri natal certification through the Nurturing the Mother course by Claire Marie Miller. Sara is interested in all aspects of the massage and wellness industry and is planning on continuing her studies to become an esthetician later next year.
Christopher graduated from Baltimore School of Massage in 2010 where he studied Swedish massage and other deep tissue modalities. Christopher became interested in the healing aspects of massage therapy after auditing a massage course in the 80’s. After almost 2 decades in the hospitality industry, spending 12-14 hours a day in a constant state of motion, Christopher uses his own understanding of how work and life can wear at the body in his massage practice. He is dedicated to providing quality therapeutic massage that allows his clients to meet their wellness goals. Christopher spends his downtime playing racquetball and is father to two very rambunctious daughters that keep him young at heart.
Aliya began her studies in music, art, and dance at Arts High School and continued at Newark Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ. She went on to study Television/Radio/Film at Temple University, where she received her BA in Communications. Her mother encouraged her to pursue a career in the healing arts after receiving many massages and experiencing the natural touch Aliya possessed. Her passion for helping others lead her to study massage therapy at the Baltimore School of Massage, where she graduated in 2010. Incorporating stretching techniques into the massage to assist with mobility, flexibility, and overall relaxation, Aliya strives to perfect her technique to create a beneficial and relaxing experience for each client she works with.
Christine became a licensed esthetician in 2007, specializing in holistic skin care after being in the skin care industry for over 10 years. Christine has extensive training in holistic skin care with Dr. Hauschka, ilike organic skin care, Naturopathica and many other natural lines and uses her knowledge of nutrition to educate her clients on a healing the body from the inside out.
Rachelle has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2005. During her cosmetology training she discovered her love for skin care. She later decided to build on that love and further her education by training at the Aveda Institute in Washington D.C. During her training I learned to appreciate nature and how almost all chemicals are synthetic versions of what is found in nature. So, she thought, why not go all natural? Rachelle continues to gain knowledge about all the wonderful things nature has to offer, and enjoys every bit of it!
Miranda has had a love affair with the skin since a very young age. Finally, she decided to persue her credentials as a licensed esthetician at Von Lee International School of Aesthetics and was granted her license by the Maryland State Board of Cosmotologists in 2010. She has made it her quest to teach her clients about their skin, and help them learn that natural is better. Currently she is working towards obtaining a certificate in aromatherapy.
Homa earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University, accomplished her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in Washington and her Master's degree in Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute in Maryland. Homa is also an Advanced Detoxification Specialist with comprehensive experience in auricular acupuncture for addiction and stress reduction. Her training and experience includes treating various acute and chronic conditions including stress, depression, anxiety, menstrual problems, migraine headaches, allergies and varies painful joints and muscular conditions using acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, cupping and other naturopathic modalities. Homa is also trained in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and will be offering this service in the coming months.
Homa uses her combined experience and knowledge to provide her patients with outmost attention and service for each individual's need. She has a passion for helping people reach their goals, weather it is enhancing their health or supporting them in their personal growth.
