About your Health Coach ~ Christine Cochrum

I am a Baltimore-based Holistic Health Coach who works with women and men one-on-one, in person, online or over the phone, to help them reduce stress, improve nutrition, lose weight, increase energy levels and live their most VIBRANT life! We will focus on holistic nutrition solutions, exercise, meditation and lifestyle changes to support your goals.

I am a licenced massage therapist, licenced esthetician, certified clinical nutritionist, and Board Certified Holistic Health Coach. I have been working in the holistic field since 2003 and throughout the last eight years have continued my education in many aspects of the field.  

My education and experience in each of these acpects of the holistic world have provided me with a unique perspective to bring to my clients. I truly believe in the holistc environment and that EVERYTHING is connected.

My passion for holistic nutrition and health coaching comes from many years of  studying the body as a massage therapist and esthetician, my own struggles with nutrition and weight issues and years of education as both a clinical nutritionist and a health coach.

I received my training in clinical nutrition at the Natural Healing Institute in California and my training to practice holistic health coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods.

My program is not for people looking for a cheap shortcut to weight loss or better health. My program is well known for being high-quality that offer long-term results.

What makes my program so effective and different than everything else out there?

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

As a Holistic Health Coach, I am a wellness guide and supportive mentor. Together, we’ll work to achieve your goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, food cravings, sleep and energy. Through working with me, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of your body and of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.

: The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has her or his own food and lifestyle needs. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you in making positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, personal preferences, and background. Instead of prescribing one fix for all people, I use a personalized, holistic approach that is based on your needs.

Everything is food: We are not only fed by food but by other factors in our lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.

This is NOT just about weight loss: Although you will lose weight if you need to on my program, it’s so much more than that. I want you to be the healthiest you can be. I want to bring you to optimal health. I will give you the tools that you need to prevent disease and live your BEST life.
